The ''West African Distance Education Association'' ('''WADEA''') is or was a distance education association for the countries of West Africa. It is difficult to locate information about this entity, e.g. whether it is still in operation.

In a [http://www.obhe.ac.uk/resources/key_resource_nov_2004_distance_learning_associations 2004 OBHE survey of Regional and International Distance Learning Associations], it was cited as lacking a web presence, to be contacted care of the Institute of Adult Education, University of Ghana.
