<p><b>New page</b></p><div>The ''Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education'' is charged with responsibility for matters relating to education in Higher Vocational Education (Yh-training and advanced vocational education) and supplementary education. <br />

It is also responsible for coordinating and supporting a national structure for validation, and to be the national focal point for the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning, the EQF.<br />
<br />
It is headquartered in Vasteras, with an office in Hässleholm.<br />
<br />
The Authority is headed by a Director-General and has about 80 employees, divided into five sections.<br />
<br />
In Vasteras is the Department of Education, Division of intelligence and monitoring, and Department of internal support and control.<br />
<br />
In Hässleholm is the Division of supervisory and quality and with the Department of Communication and student records.<br />
<br />
The Agency also has an advisory council that serves as an advisory body to the Director General, and a Labour Council which assists the Authority with information on social development.<br />
