Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) was opened on April 1st, 2000, in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture. Founded on a vision of freedom, peace and humanity, international mutual understanding, and the future of the Asia-Pacific region, APU is dedicated to cultivating global human resources to lead the harmonious and sustainable development of the Asia-Pacific.
