New page

stub
The Catholic University College Ghent (Katholieke Hogeschool Sint-Lieven, KaHo Sint-Lieven) supports e-learning through the LMS Toledo which also incorporates Blackboard and which is being used in the whole K.U.Leuven Association of which this HEI is a member.

<!-- Say something brief about its mission etc. -->
KaHo Sint-Lieven is the result of a merger in 1995 from 8 former higher education institutions.
Each campus has its own traditions and can look back on a rich - be it shorter or longer - past.
Some of the eight founding institutions were established in the 19th century. Since the merger, KaHo Sint-Lieven has reorganised and grouped into 3 campuses in 3 regions in Aalst, Ghent and Sint-Niklaas.

The institution’s main office is in Ghent, Belgium. Other campuses are located in Aalst, Gent and Sint-Niklaas.

<!-- Say something fairly brief about the teaching methods, number of students, staff etc. -->
KaHo Sint-Lieven is a university college in Flanders with about 5000 students and more than 600 staff members.

Its entry to Toledo is http://toledo.kahosl.be

<!-- Say something about membership of international organisations if relevant. -->
The Catholic University College Ghent is a member of the K.U.Leuven Association, which is also a case study on this wiki.
Could also add history, organisation, technology etc depending on the editor's judgement of importance and relevance to the EU. -->
