== Overview ==

''CITSCAPES'' was a JISC funded project focussing on student ICT Literacy in Further and Higher Education. The [http://www.citscapes.ac.uk/ CITSCAPES site] still exists and includes reports on student ICT Literacy in Further and Higher Education, case studies showing a range of current practice in colleges and universities across the UK, and tools to help reflection and planning within your own institution.

Among its more benchmarking-related aspects, Citscapes adapted one of the [[MIT90s]] models (Venkatraman’s model) to create a transformation model oriented to education which describes the stages an institution may go through in the process of transforming from a traditional institution to an ICT led educational institution.

== Relevance to UK HE ==

Of historical interest only. Elements of CITSCAPES were incorporated into [[Pick&Mix]] and [[ELTI]] - in particular ELTI [http://www.jisc.ac.uk/whatwedo/programmes/programme_jos/project_elti.aspx cites] CITSCAPES as a "related project".

Elements are likely to have informed some FE benchmarking schemes also.
