The ''American International School of Bucharest'' (AISB) was founded in 1962 and is Bucharest's largest international school. The language of instruction is in English and is based upon an American style curriculum. We offer the International Baccalaureate Program throughout the entire school, from Early Childhood through 12th grade. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges, The Council of International Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organization accredit our school. AISB is located near the airport on a new campus constructed in 2001. This purpose-built facility is the finest in town.

Our mission is primarily to serve the international community in Bucharest with a college preparatory program that enables students to attend universities in Europe, North America and Australia.
